Naturalist, Rhonda Goins, obviously has a great love for these wolves, and she enjoys sharing her experiences and teaching about the pack. My son, myself and a few more spent the night with Rhonda learning about the wolves and the other animals at Bays Mountain. Our time was capped off by assisting in the feeding of the pack. Their diet this day was a 150lb deer, which they devoured in approximately 20 minutes. Some of the photographs in this gallery are from the feeding. I have placed them at the end of the gallery so those who don't wish to view them - don't have to.
The wolves have been socialized ( a 3mth long process that requires true dedication) so that we can enjoy their beauty and observe them while they are able to stay relatively stress free. Rhonda's passionate dedication to these and other animals in this park was inspiring.
